Hi! I am Bethany McGee, a mother of 6 and I have had my fair share of fears in birth. I love helping moms see what they are capable of. My goal in life is to help first time moms not have to recover from difficult births and to help those that have had difficult births in the past realize that it doesn't have to be like that.
I love helping women get past all the negativity they've encountered personally or through "scary stories" and helping them realize that birth can and should be positive and fulfilling.
I have had to overcome my own past difficult births to understand this and I want to help other moms move forward as well. Birth doesn't have to be scary. You have the power inside you to beat your fears and have an amazing birth experience. I want to help you create a "Safe Surrounding" where ever you choose to give birth.

Bethany was my doula for the birth of my daughter and she was my rock. I had a lot of false labor and she was there for me to talk to day and night. She came to my house to help me through what I thought was more false labor that turned out to be the real thing and she was amazing! She went above and beyond for me, to comfort me through it all. I could NOT have birthed my baby girl without Bethany by my side. This was my third birth, but first unmedicated birth. I owe all of my success to having Bethany as my doula. Talking through all of my anxieties prior to the birth was just what I needed. She helped me come up with a birth plan and helped me to stick with it when labor started. When I went into labor, she was by my side the whole time, doing exactly what I needed (even if I didn't realize I needed it)! Counter pressure, cold rags, a fan... even just holding my hand and breathing with me... Everything she did helped me to do what I needed to do. Bethany is such a caring, understanding and loving person. I am so grateful to her for assisting my birth. It went the complete opposite way of what we have planned but she was able to adapt and adjust and made herself extremely valuable for me, my husband and the medical staff. I felt comfortable and completely supported through the entire process and I felt that I was able to rely on her and her knowledge through the entire delivery and postpartum process.
